🚨 Three still missing after Texas floods – the search continues!

Heart-wrenching news from Central Texas: families are holding their breath as three loved ones remain unaccounted for after the devastating July 4th floods. πŸ’” Who are they, and what happened? The truth is unfolding…

“He’s still missing. We want them looking,” said Claire Traweek Ramsey. “We want them to know that he’s still missing.”

Despite earlier reports of the number still missing from the Central Texas Floods, WFAA has confirmed that at least three people are still unaccounted for.

Memorial services were held in Marble Falls on Tuesday for volunteer fire department chief Michael Phillips, although his body still has not been found. His vehicle was found but he is still missing after rushing to help flood victims on July 5th in Burnet County. Part of his memorial service included his own words, in an interview from 2012.

“It’s kind of rewarding in itself just to be able to help people,” Phillips said.

WFAA sister stationΒ KVUE in AustinΒ confirms that the search continues for 8-year-old Cile Steward, the last camper missing from Camp Mystic.

And on Tuesday, the family of Jeff Ramsey of Lewisville confirmed he is still missing too.

“He hasn’t been found yet. So we’re doing as good as we can be with what’s going on,” said Ramsey’s brother-in-law Eric Steele. “I don’t understand how there’s one or two or even three. I mean there’s definitely more than that.”

Jeff Ramsey and his wife Tanya were at the HTR campground along the Guadalupe River. Family members say the couple was staying in a separate cabin on the opposite side of the campsite. When the floodwaters rose, it wasΒ Jeff Ramsey who called the rest of the family by phone, waking them up and warning them to evacuate. Steele said that without that call, they might not have survived.

Tanya Ramsey’s body was recovered several days later. But as of Tuesday, Jeff Ramsey has not.

“It’s just terrible for my children, it’s terrible for my children, the not knowing,” said Ramsey’s ex-wife, Claire Traweek Ramsey. “We are a family of faith and we have prayed and prayed and prayed.”

On Tuesday, the Joint Information Center in Kerrville confirmed to WFAA that two people are missing in Kerr County. Families identify those two as Cile Steward and Jeff Ramsey. The third person missing is Fire Chief Michael Phillips, missing in Burnet County.

But whatever the number, families want their names spoken until they are found.

“We want people still looking for him. He’s still missing. We want them looking,” said Claire Traweek Ramsey. “We want them to know that he’s still missing.”

And like the memorial service Tuesday in Marble Falls for Michael Phillips, the Ramsey family will hold a memorial service in Lewisville next week for Jeff and Tanya β€” whether he is found or not. They pray that he, and every victim, will be found soon.

The family has established aΒ GoFundMe accountΒ to help the Ramseys’ adult children with funeral, travel and other expenses as the search and memorial plans continue.
